Mickey Mussett and his wife Marie, have set up their business in Denver, Colorado hoping to continue the art of boot making in Denver. There once were 200 bootmakers in Denver and now there are only about 300 in the United States. But cowboy boots remain a national footwear and art form.
The machines are old but the designs are new and more importantly, yours. All of the stitching and inlay work are done by Mickey and some of the grunt work and clean up is done by Marie. Some of the designs are inspired by some of the best bootmakers our country has produced, but many come from our customers imagination. The machines are often fixed by our son Peter as there are almost no machine technicians for these beautiful machines. Come spend time in our shop. You won't regret it!
